On April 11 and 12, the Broadband Deployment Board (Board or BDB) began its review of the Minimum Requirement Decisions for all of the applications for the final 2024 Grant Cycle. Unfortunately, the Board was unable to complete its review, and therefore scheduled a final application review meeting for Wednesday, April 17 from 9:30 to 12:30 pm.
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) announced the release of its Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for State Digital Equity Capacity Grants.
We had a highly productive year in 2023. We announced Capital Projects Fund (CPF) awards, received an allocation of $826.5 million from the Broadband, Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program and passed significant legislation that removes barriers to investing federal dollars, among many more things.
