Farm Foundation E-connectivity listening session
September 20 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
National Western Complex, Denver, CO
The Farm Foundation invites your participation in an E-Connectivity Listening Session on September 20 at the National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt St, Denver, CO 80216. The 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. MDT session is designed to hear from stakeholders in the Western States about their challenges and successes in achieving quality e-connectivity.
Farm Foundation, CoBank, National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association, the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation are partnering with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to organize a series of educational listening sessions across the nation to gather insights into the tools that are needed to improve e-connectivity in rural America. This event will focus on hearing from rural stakeholders about the need for, and solutions for obtaining, quality broadband services for the economic health of rural America.
We are looking for participants representing rural areas in Colorado and other Western states to add strength to our understanding of the importance of quality broadband services for rural America and e-connectivity to the economic, educational and social vitality of rural America.
This Listening Session is the fourth of these sessions held across the country to gather specific input from broadband providers and the people who use – or would like to be able to use – those services. A report of those sessions will be provided to federal and state public and private leaders to better inform their decisions regarding improvements to, and expansion of, broadband services in rural America.
